'Ernie' Kelanmee Timeless Obsession

We knew from a baby that Ernie was special! Such a lovely character as a puppy Ernie continued to capture our hearts. Full of mischief and exploration his temperament is a joy to live with and his nature with our other shelties is truly wonderful.

Kelanmee Treasured Timepiece (ai) 'Tic Toc', Ernie's dam together his sire Ch. Hortonpark Simply the Joker, produced four beautiful puppies with Ernie the standout in the litter. His name soon stuck as his multitude of friends nicknamed him 'the fastest milkcart driver in the West' (made famous by the English comediant Benny Hill).

Ernie's show career was to start from March, as is the usual case in Australia however with COVID 19 starting to make its way throughout NSW and Australia shows were cancelled until September 2019. Although a little daunting on the first day, he soon enjoyed the attention winning his class and opposite competition. The next planned show was in November at Harden and entered in the Puppy age Class, he won well and was also awarded two Reserve Challenges and a Runner up of Breed by the two Judges on the day (see some very happy pics below).  It is hoped that he will continue to enjoy the shows as we endevour to campaign him to his Australian Championship Title, and that the promise he has shown as a youngster, gaining confidence along the way, he will be awarded those elusive top owners on his own merit.
